Dr. Mohammed Alrubaye serves as Assistant Clinical Manager at AMSS, Clinic, where he supports clinical operations, program development, and community outreach initiatives designed to expand access to high-quality healthcare for Central Florida’s under-served populations. He is deeply committed to bridging healthcare gaps and ensuring that every patient receives compassionate, comprehensive care.
Dr. Alrubaye’s professional journey in medicine began in his hometown in Iraq, where he was inspired by his family’s dedication to the medical field. After earning his medical degree from 6th October University in Egypt, he was motivated by his uncle, a general surgeon, and his aunt, an OB-GYN, to pursue a career centered on service, excellence, and patient advocacy. Following his move to the United States as a refugee, Dr. Alrubaye continued to develop his clinical expertise while working as a medical assistant and volunteering in community clinics experiences that deepened his understanding of the challenges faced by marginalized populations in accessing care,
Before joining AMSS Clinic, Dr. Alrubaye worked in several community care clinics in Virginia, where he provided direct patient support and learned firsthand the importance of empathy, communication, and culturally competent care. These experiences shaped his passion for serving vulnerable communities and strengthened his belief that equitable healthcare is a fundamental right, not a privilege.
Dr. Alrubaye holds an MD from 6th October University and is currently working toward completing his U.S. medical licensure through the USMLE program. He is also certified as a Medical Assistant, reflecting his dedication to hands-on patient care and clinical excellence.
At AMSS Clinic, Dr. Alrubaye looks forward to building on his experience by supporting programs that expand access to preventive services, health education, and chronic disease management. His leadership philosophy is rooted in compassion, collaboration, and integrity. “Healthcare is not just a profession,” he says. “It is a responsibility to uplift every life we touch.”
