Dr. Amer Alshareef, DDS, PA, is a dedicated dental professional with more than two decades of experience, blending clinical excellence with compassionate care. He is the owner of Maitland Avenue Dental, where he leads a skilled and caring team committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centered dentistry in a comfortable and welcoming environment. Dr. Alshareef oversees all aspects of patient care, clinical operations, and staff development—ensuring that every patient receives the highest level of service, from the first phone call to the final smile.
A foreign graduate of Damascus University, Dr. Alshareef moved to the United States in 2001 to advance his education and expand his professional expertise. He attended the University of Florida College of Dentistry from 2006 to 2008, completing the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program with distinction, graduating with a 3.8 GPA and earning a Certificate of Outstanding Performance. His passion for dentistry is driven by lifelong learning; he consistently pursues continuing education and advanced training to stay at the forefront of modern techniques and technology.
Since 2019, Dr. Alshareef has served as the Dental Director of the AMCC Dental Clinic, a charitable program providing free dental services to low-income and uninsured patients. Under his leadership, the clinic has expanded its procedures, improved clinical efficiency, and strengthened community outreach through teamwork and compassion. He takes great pride in the clinic’s accomplishments, recognizing them as the result of shared dedication and collective purpose.
